Mini is a British automotive brand introduced in 1959 by the British Motor Corporation (BMC). Designed by Alec Issigonis, the Mini became famous for its compact size, innovative front-wheel-drive layout, and efficient use of interior space. It grew into one of the most influential small cars in automotive history and remained in production until 2000. Since 2001, the MINI brand has continued under BMW ownership with a new generation of vehicles.
