Reliant Motor Company was a British automotive manufacturer based in Tamworth, Staffordshire. The company became widely recognized for its lightweight three-wheeled vehicles, most notably the Reliant Robin. Beyond three-wheelers, Reliant also produced compact passenger cars, sports models, and light commercial vehicles. One of its key innovations was the extensive use of fiberglass (GRP) body construction, which helped reduce weight and production costs while defining the company’s distinctive engineering approach.
