Samsung Commercial Vehicles was a South Korean manufacturer of trucks and buses under the Samsung Group. It was created after being spun off from Samsung Heavy Industries to focus on commercial vehicle production. The company attempted to build and sell medium and heavy-duty trucks, including export models for international markets. However, due to the Asian financial crisis and weak market performance, it struggled financially and eventually ceased operations in 2000.
