Rolls-Royce Motors was a British luxury car manufacturer formed after the automotive division of Rolls-Royce Limited was separated from the nationalised parent company. It produced ultra-luxury cars under the Rolls-Royce and Bentley brands and later changed ownership between Vickers and Volkswagen before its assets were split, leading to Bentley continuing under Volkswagen and BMW creating Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in 2003.
