Shanghai Maple was a Chinese automobile manufacturer and a subsidiary of Geely Holding Group. It initially focused on producing low-cost passenger cars based on older Citroën platforms. Over time, the company shifted toward electric vehicles through Geely-related joint ventures. Eventually, the Maple brand was discontinued and fully integrated into Geely’s Livan brand, ending its independent operations.
