Roewe is a Chinese automotive brand owned by SAIC Motor. It was created after SAIC failed to acquire the Rover brand name and instead developed Roewe using technology from the former MG Rover. The brand mainly produces sedans, SUVs, and electric vehicles, and many of its models are exported under the MG brand outside China.
