SWM is an automotive brand that originated in Milan, Italy, in 1971 as a motorcycle manufacturer. After being acquired by China's Xinyuan Group in 2014, the company expanded into passenger vehicles and launched its first SUV in 2016. SWM combines Italian design expertise with Chinese manufacturing capabilities, producing SUVs, MPVs, and new-energy vehicles. Today, the brand operates design and R&D centers in Italy and China and sells its vehicles in various international markets.
